Rule 1: 1. Nouns of place in context
Lesson 126 gave the patterns مَفْعَل and مَفْعِل. A ceremony moves from place to place, so the reading is full of them: مَنْزِلٌ house (from نَزَلَ), مَجْلِسٌ sitting-room, sitting (from جَلَسَ), مَسْجِدٌ mosque, مَدْخَلٌ entrance (from دَخَلَ), مَقْعَدٌ seat (from قَعَدَ), مَطَارٌ airport (from طَارَ). Their broken plural is مَفَاعِلُ, a diptote.
